I don't know man... most air forks that I've ridden were way more linear than coils, whether it was MZ 66sl vs rc2x, Lyrik Uturn vs solo air or Boxx WC versus Boxx team. I know that dampers are a bit different story because of their compressino circuits, but still air dampers are damn more linear than coil sprung ones. When I squeeze the air in syringe it gets harder only at the bottom, this is all i know from physics

Furthermore I see no point in having a single crown fork being only a 100g lighter than doublecrown boxxer team or Fox 40, and acutaly almost 300g heavier than Boxxer WC. What's the point? X-Up against DC stiffness and strength?

Well, according to my no that limited knowledge and personal feel of air forks vs coil forks it is air that is more linear than coil. Air progresses only at the very end of travel increasing the resistance against dive only slightly through the middle stroke, while coil consequently inrecases the resistance against bottoming force with every single mm of travel. Regarding the X in the 66 RC2x it is not completely a fast speed compression as in FOX (which I believe are the only ones really having really separated HS LS compression damping)it is just the end stroke (bottom out) damping. I personaly prefer 66SL as rc2x is way to heavy for that minimal advantage of having HS compression.

Erm did i actually tell you to go f*ck yourself?? Nope
And how am i ignorant? Pinkbikers seem to think girls with bikes are whores and its pictures like the ones your friend posted that give us that bad reputation. I'm here for bikes, not boys. I don't attention seek. If i wanted to I would post pics of my ass on pinkbike.

Cool. It'll be much easier to clear when the top section is in. I'm thinking of moving the take-off over to the left a bit to put it on a slightly better line for the shore. Not 100% yet though, I'll put the little berm back for the time being and see how it runs when the top's done.

Hey man, enjoy the ride today? You've definitely got better. Hopefully I'll have more stuff ready for the summer. Any suggestions/bug-bears about the trail that's there? I've got a few things in my head, want to see if other people are thinking the same, if that makes sense. Did you get your brake fixed? I'll be up there most of next week if you fancy popping out again.
Oh, and convince Carly it's a really good idea to sell the Minxy next year

this might be long..
if i were you and its for the coiler get a roco tstr in the correct length and get a wc cup shim kit fitted for about an extra £80 from windwave.
the dhx looks nice but thats about as good as it gets the feel was just never right and always felt very stiff i had one on my coiler too and it felt bloody stiff as a board, put on a roco tstr to see if there was any difference and the coiler came to life.
roco and vivid have a very similar feel with easy adjustments to make and the wc on my stinky pedalled really well for a dh shock.
